Inside an RFID/NFC Factory: How Cards and Wristbands Are Made
RFID/NFC products are everywhere: access cards, school ID cards, gift cards and event wristbands. We visited a factory that makes RFID products and followed the complete production of cards and silicone wristbands: coil winding, chip bonding, printing, lamination, die-cutting, silicone molding, laser engraving, pad printing and quality inspection.

A few days ago, I visited a factory that specializes in RFID/NFC cards, wristbands and tags. We have previously customized NFC gift cards, NFC wristbands and RFID cards for clients, but this was the first time I saw the whole process from raw materials to finished products. Here is what I learned.
RFID products are all around us: residential access cards, school ID cards, employee badges, hotel key cards, transit cards, canteen cards, membership cards, animal ear tags, pet microchips, NFC gift cards, NFC key fobs, tap-to-open-a-webpage business cards and promotional cards, RFID wristbands, and more.
